THE MISSING HOUR

Embrace the day

clouds and blue

feeling life

no thoughts of you

*

The sun goes orange

and fades to grey

embrace the calm

remains of day

*

It’s when the blue

fights with the night

my heart aches with

lack of might

This missing hour . . . eternity

until, my love, you’re next to me.

Beautiful and melancholy, you say so much with so few words, like a watercolor painter that leaves enough white on the paper…..

    • Thank you, Kathryn. I felt your hug from here! I’m sorry that I’ve fallen behind in reading your blog. I have them all saved in my email inbox…..I’ve been meaning to drop you an email and talk to you about something. I will do it soon. Hope you and Sara are well and keeping away from any accidents, hurricanes, storms, or trouble of ANY kind! Please take care of your precious self. Love to you. xoxo Julia

    • Thank you so much, Denise. p.s. I would love to meet for lunch sometime in the future. Kinda rough time for me right now, but I’d love to meet and break bread!
