I’M GUEST BLOGGING!

Hey Friends!

On Monday, November 26th,  at 8:00 a.m. I’m guest blogging!

Cruise on over to LE CLOWN’S, “BLACK BOX WARNINGS”, at: http://wp.me/p2qxmy-do and pay us a visit!

I’ve reposted “Being Bipolar”,  and it’s been updated with TONS of additional pics, so please read it, repost it on your Fb page, and share it with everyone you know. Maybe it will help you to undertand an afflicted family member or friend. Or if that person is you, please know that you are not alone. There is help. And there is hope.

I wrote this right after the above piece:

THIS BIPOLAR’S FRIENDS

“My greatest blessings are my friends. They are priceless. They don’t walk on eggshells, and they aren’t saints who always understand exactly how I feel. My friends are brave. Although I may be cause for concern at times, they love me anyway. They don’t give me exemptions; they give me allowances, just as I do for them.

I have found that the most secure people I know are also the ones who are the most patient and compassionate. Maybe with the others, my unstable-ness scares their unstable-ness.” – Julia Kovach

NOTE:  While you are visiting LE CLOWN’S, “BLACK BOX WARNINGS”, at: http://wp.me/p2qxmy-do , please take a few minutes to check it out! Read some of his past posts and those of his talented guests. You will find them to be relevant, honest, and potent.

A special note to Monsieur Le Clown:  Thank you for allowing me a visit to your space! The information you share on your blog is beyond important; it not only informs, but can serve as an actual lifeline to those suffering silently and alone with mental illness.  You’re a real prince, dude! Blessings to you and those you love! xoJulia

    Hi, Julia,
I read this when you originally posted it. I thought just by living and being on the earth for 60+ yrs I knew a lot about bi-polar disorder, but your blog opened my eyes WIDE and gave me a whole new perspective.
Glad you are re-posting. I enjoy all your blogs
    Jeff

    • Thank you so much for sharing that with me, Jeff. It means the world to me. I’m so glad to hear that you understand more…bless your heart for wanting to. Take good care of your precious self. xoJulia

  4. Fantastic reblog. Powerful stuff.

    • Thanks so much! I just “follow”ed your blog, but haven’t had a chance to check it out yet. Thanks for stopping by and leaving such wonderful words. xoJulia

  5. Hi Julia thanks for following 🙂
I love Le Clown! Wow what a small blogging world – crazy! I don’t often get the chance to get out here and read other people’s stuff, but when I do, I see the same faces and names popping up everywhere.
I have no friends who write or blog, and I always wish to meet someone like me – but here they all are in one tight knit community under my nose – many of whom share my same thoughts.
Perhaps we are fragile, delicate and creative self-tortured souls – the real romantics in a harsh world.
I may not be a full-blown bipolar chick, but I know everything passes in time, and everything can be written out plainly to understand it better.
    Wordpress rocks.

    Melanie 🙂

  6. Wow just read the Black Box and it totally hits the mark! I knew that creativity and bipolar went hand in hand I just knew it!
The thing with me is that as long as I stay aware of myself and what controls my thoughts, I can let everything go. That’s the key – to just let go. Writing is my vessel into doing that. It gives me great insight into myself and others.
And just know that the only person that will ever make you truly happy is yourself. All that you’ll ever need is already in you. Follow your dreams, follow your heart and keep writing and sharing.

    • Thank you so much, Melanie, you are like a small wonderful gift being delivered underservingly to me! I take your words to heart……and I thank you for them. Blessings to you. xoJulia

  7. We are kindred in the heart. Just remember you’re never really alone. I’m with ya sister!
